General Statement of Job
To provide specialized services and support to departmental office or program.Information for This Posting Only
Advises students regarding international admissions application; explains enrollment and registration procedures, provides assessment and other requirements necessary for enrollment.Assists in daily student correspondence duties in the International Student OfficeMaintains and updates records and files and submits reports as appropriate. Assist in international student application processing.Advises students regarding their international student application and enrollment process.Assist with International Student Office daily operations (phone, email, etc)Maintains and updates records and files and submits reports as appropriate.Description of Duties and TasksEssential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Knowledge of international student admissions procedures a plus
Proficiency in a foreign language preferred. Processes and procedures related to the departmental work being done.

Two years related work experience that would result in the required level of knowledge and skills to for performing the duties of this position including successful interaction with potential students.Required Education
Associates Degree or above.Other Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Austin Community College Administrative Rules, Policies and Procedures, and/or Ellucian Colleague software.Physical Requirements
Work is performed in a standard office environment. Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Occasional lifting of objects up to 30 pounds.Safety
