Description:Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) is seeking candidates for the positions of part-time health science faculty in the School of Health Sciences. Faculty report to the Dean of Health Sciences. Responsibilities include but not limited to:- Teaching undergraduate courses as appropriate for area of expertise. Courses may include but not limited to: Medical Terminology; Healthcare Trends and Issues, Collaborative Care in Health Professions; Drug and Complementary Therapies; and Emergency Response. Courses are scheduled to be in-per and/or hybrid (combination of online and in-person) for Spring 2022.
- Assigning grades, preparing course materials, creating grading assessment tools, using D2L learning management system, developing didactic content, working with a diverse studen and faculty population
- Master's degree in Public Health, Health Care Administration, or related discipline
- At lease 1 year of college teaching experience in diverse student population, especially coursework in health science programs with consistent excellence in evaluations of teaching, service and scholorship; evidence of teaching in one or more of the subjects above at the adult or college leve. strong commitment to diversity, student engagement and shared governance
