Job Details
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Greets visitors and callers, handles their inquiries and directs them to the appropriate individual. Provides information related to the department and University.
• Maintains and updates departmental files and student records.
• Processes workflows and overrides as directed by the Chair.
• Prepares and posts Departmental Schedule each semester. Sets up and maintains department calendars each semester.
• Orders textbooks and other forms as needed.
• Assists students with the registration process as needed.
• Orders equipment and supplies. Maintains general office supply inventory and places supply orders with W.B. Mason. Maintains office equipment.
• May assist with the coordination of applications for prospective faculty.
• Submits Work Orders and Key Requests to Plant Department as needed.
• Distributes incoming mail and packages.
• Supervises Federal Work Study Student Aide.
• Assists with the coordination of events when needed.
• Provides assistance and support to the Department of Biology as needed.
• May perform other duties not specifically identified above, but which require the same degree of skill and which are normally included within the above job title.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 10am - 2:00pm
*Subject to bumping
Qualifications:Prior office experience required.
