Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job:

Primary consideration will be given to candidates with an applied research agenda and practical experience in the field of victim services. The successful candidate will contribute to the Department of Victim Studies undergraduate and graduate educational missions and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, research as well as service. The incumbent will be expected to teach substantive courses at both the graduate and undergraduate level, maintain a research agenda, mentor students, and participate in service to the department.

Educational Requirements for the Position:

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or a closely related academic field

Experience Required for the Position:

An established record of scholarship, teaching, and service commensurate with the rank for which they are applying.
