Job Description:

Position Summary:

Our Southern California campuses are seeking a part-time licensed clinical psychologist whose primary responsibility will be to provide individual supervision to practicum students. Supervisors will be required to meet with their assigned supervisee a minimum of one hour/week and provide clinical supervision regarding the student’s clinical work at their practicum site. The supervisor will report to the Campus Director of the Office of Placement and Training for the Southern California Campuses.

Principal Duties:

  • Meet with students (supervisees) at least one hour per week (not to exceed two hours/week)

  • Review student clinical notes and testing reports and provide feedback to the student

  • Support students in developing their professional identity and clinical skills

  • Provide students with assistance regarding the selection, administration, and scoring of assessment tools

  • Support students in understanding the importance of ethics in clinical practice and identifying any potential ethical concerns

  • Integrate diversity in the assessment, conceptualization, and treatment of clients

  • Support students in writing well-organized and clear psychological reports

  • Maintain strict confidentiality with regard to client information

  • Behave in a collegial and professional manner with all members of TCSPP community and adhere to the highest professional conduct and ethical standards

  • Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications:

  • A doctorate degree in Psychology from an APA-accredited program

  • Must be a licensed psychologist

  • Experience supervising doctoral-level students in a clinical setting

  • Experience with psychological testing and report writing

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
