General Description:
The purpose of the Coordinator of Enrollment Management position is to create, implement, evaluate and promote strategic enrollment management planning and practices leading to student goal attainment. The Coordinator works collaboratively with campus and college partners on goal setting/planning, strategic scheduling, (analysis of enrollment trends, schedule development, classroom assignments), faculty engagement, internal logistics of processes and the furthering of campus engagement with the community. The responsibilities will also include leading and supporting special projects.

Duties and Tasks:
The Coordinator of Enrollment Management and Scheduling provides high-level support to the campus Provost in coordinating academic policy, programs, and strategic enrollment management practices. The Coordinator works in concert with Academic Deans, Associate Deans, the Dean of Students, and other campus personnel to develop innovative enrollment management plans and initiatives that are in harmony with college-wide enrollment management priorities. The Dean establishes effective working relationships across the campus to promote an environment of academic excellence, efficient use of instructional resources, and student success.
• Assists the Provost and Deans in implementing and executing adoption of VCCS and NOVA policies and procedures at the campus level
• Works in tandem with the Campus Provosts (including, IET and Pathway Councils), Division Deans, Associate Deans, Student Services and others to establish, implement and evaluate strategic enrollment management goals/plans/strategies
• Coordinates campus enrollment management strategies and academic classroom space utilization, including setting enrollment targets, outreach, developing a draft of course offerings for each semester with number of sections and class sizes, etc.)
• Oversees campus class schedule entry into SIS
• Participates in campus keep/cancel deliberations
• Serves as the campus super user of the College’s scheduling analytics software (Ad Astra)
• Coordinates the campus scheduling process and oversees the integrity of the schedule entered in the Student Information System (SIS)
• Provides support to Division Deans and Associate Deans in developing a student responsive class schedule including current and future modalities
• Develops and promotes effective communications and promotion of program/course offerings to students, prospective students, schools, and communities
• Supports the Campus Provost and Division Deans to implement programs and course offerings to meet and guide student demand.
• Provides direct leadership for enrollment management of off-site locations (if applicable)
• Provides leadership for engaging campus/college stakeholders to increase awareness of campus enrollment trends, initiatives, etc. and implement community engagement initiatives
• Assists in planning and coordinating professional development and training opportunities for faculty and staff and/or campus events
• Serves on the College Scheduling Operations Committee and shares knowledge with Deans and Associate Deans
• Reviews and analyzes data to inform decision-making, assesses effectiveness of enrollment management practices and recommends changes
• Oversees and coordinates special projects as assigned by the Provost
• Creates, monitors and maintains budget for assigned unit
• Prepare reports of enrollment progress and opportunities
• Supervises support personnel as needed
• Assists the Provost and Deans in implementing and executing adoption of VCCS and NOVA policies and procedures at the campus level

• Skilled in MS Office, in particular Excel
• Knowledge of enrollment management, including class scheduling and space utilization

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or combination of education, training and experience.
• Experience with data analysis and making recommendations based on data
