The mission of the Harry L. Davis Center for Leadership is to create spaces for students and alumni to experiment with new approaches to leadership.  We provide innovative, experiential courses and programs that encourage lifelong learning and the realization of one’s leadership potential.  The Associate Director, Leadership Initiatives plays a key role in the delivery of our leadership programs for alumni, both in-person and virtual.  This position will work closely with the Director, Leadership Initiatives to design and manage core Davis Center programs.


  1. Work closely with the Director, Leadership Initiatives to support lifelong learning programs for alumni.  Program management activities include event planning and execution, communications/marketing, and program evaluation.
  2. Design and deliver training for alumni programs including cohort training and skills training. Facilitate meetings and retreats for alumni cohorts. 
  3. Serve as a process consultant to alumni volunteer educators and moderators.
  4. Build a strong and enduring alumni community of volunteers and participants.
  5. Collaborate with Booth Faculty and Staff to develop content for new experiential leadership courses for students and alumni.


  1. Bachelor’s degree required. 
  2. A minimum of five years of experience in leadership training or leadership coaching required.
  3. Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written, and presentation skills required.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills including coaching and facilitation skills, with the ability to speak in front of large audiences, as well as, 1:1 setting required.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple constituencies in a sometimes ambiguous and fast-paced environment required.
  6. Knowledge of the logistical aspect of training, event, and meeting planning preferred.
