Job Description:

Duties will include:

• Assist senior researchers in the lab in constructing a web page hosting genomic data.
• Use Python or other scripts to modify bioinformatic pipeline to analyze RNA-sequencing data.

Expected Salary:

$15.00 per hour

Minimum Requirements:

Prior experience in website design and construction. Associate's degree in an appropriate area; or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of related experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. An understanding of molecular biology, especially gene regulation is preferred, but not necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience in the website building, manage SQL or cloud database. Candidate can assist lab members to build a database based on the genomics data created in lab before.
