The University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD) is recruiting a full-time, clinical non-tenure track faculty position in the Department of Orthodontics at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank. UFCD is one of the leading dental schools in the United States devoted to improving and promoting oral health throughout Florida, the nation and worldwide through excellence in teaching, research, patient care and service.

Responsibilities will include clinical and didactic teaching of predoctoral (DMD) students and orthodontics residents, participation in research/scholarly activity and intramural clinical practice.

The University of Florida, a member of the AAU, is the largest and most comprehensive public university in the state of Florida, with large undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate educational programs.  The UF Health Science Center and its six colleges (Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health and Health Professions, Veterinary Medicine) are co-located on the Gainesville campus, with additional teaching, research, and patient care sites across Florida, and internationally.

Minimum requirements include a DDS, DMD, or equivalent dental degree and completion of advanced training program in orthodontics, preferably from a CODA accredited advanced training program. Preference will be given to board certified or board eligible candidates. Previous teaching experience and involvement in research /scholarly activities is also preferred. Salary and rank are commensurate with credentials and experience.
