Position Information: DescriptionStagehand work at the CFA generally consists of assisting with the set-up and takedown of our stage for shows or events.

This is a part-time, non-benefitted position.

Duties & Responsibilities
    Assist with the loading & unloading of equipment for our showsAssist with set-up/takedown of stage equipmentAssist in setting up the scenery, lights, sound, props, rigging, and special effects for a show/eventWorking with the show-related gearPaid Training and Workshops are available to teach you other jobs such as- Lighting, Sound, Fly rail, etc. No pervious knowledge of this job is necessary.

Hours and Hiring Salary
    There are not any guaranteed weekly hours. The hours you work a month vary greatly depending on how many events are scheduled at the Fritz each month and how many shows you sign up to work. Some months we will have no events scheduled, were we need stagehands to assist us and other months you could have the opportunity to work many hours/events.Hours typically needed for our Stagehands are- Mornings/daytime (8AM-1PM**) and Evenings/late-night (9PM-1AM**) shifts. **Hours are an estimate, each show/event are different.You pick the shows/events you want to work, according to your schedule.$14/hourRaises are given twice a year, according to if you attended our beginning of the season orientation, the number of workshops you’ve attended and how many hours you have worked.
