GSPP seeks to train students to provide culturally competent services to clients and the community. Position Summary:

This posting is for a part-time position as Assessment Director, beginning immediately. This is a non-benefited role with varying workload, averaging approximately 10-15 hours per week and not to exceed 1000 hours in a calendar year. This position reports to the PsyD program Director. Some work can be done remotely, but some work requires being on campus.

Essential Functions:

  1. Manage assessment cases for the Professional Psychology Clinic (PPC):
  2. Triage phone screens
  3. Assign cases to meet student requests
  4. Recruit case referral sources to the clinic as needed
  • Arrange assessment supervision:
  • Recruit supervisors in the community
  • Meet regularly and consult with supervisors and adjunct faculty, including assessment seminar leaders, to ensure that supervisors are meeting expectations.
  • Maintain open lines of communication about assessment issues.
  • Manage testing materials
  • Manage budget and purchasing of assessment materials.
  • Oversee organization and maintenance of materials.
  • Oversee assessment material check out system.
  • Provide leadership and consultation on assessment services.
  • Required Education & Experience:

    • PsyD or PhD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
    • Licensed or license eligible to practice psychology in Colorado.

    Preferred Education & Experience:

    • Experience with cognitive and personality assessment.
    • Experience organizing materials.

    Compensation:

    This is a non-benefited position with an hourly rate of $45-$55 per hour. Current faculty may apply for this position and receive overload pay. GSPP faculty pay will be determined by the faculty workload framework.

    The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
