This position will provide administrative support to Graduate Medical Sciences assisting with student admissions, data management, and program support. This position will interact with a diverse community of stakeholders including students, faculty and staff. The successful applicant must be organized and be able to handle sensitive and confidential documents in a professional manner and have excellent written and oral communication skills. This position will provide support to the GMS Assistant Dean of Operations including management of calendar.

Required Skills

B.A/B.S with 1-3 years of work experience. Must have professional work ethic; professional appearance; be willing and able to perform multiple tasks that require considerable judgment, tact and understanding of the organizations procedures, especially on confidential matters; must be willing to learn and adapt to office environment. Must have good time management skills, organization, accuracy and attention to detail, especially in preparing and verifying important documents. Skill Requirements: Must be proficient in Microsoft office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and be familiar with Blackboard, and Word Press. Excellent writing and editing skills, as well as good interpersonal skills are important. Dependability is expected, as well as flexibility during events. Must demonstrate excellent customer service and be able to adjust to individual needs of a diverse community of students, staff and faculty. Must be able to handle confidential information with proficiency.
