University Description:

Detailed Description:	
This is a temporary position (between 30 - 37.5 hours per week), Medical & Retirement Benefits, with an anticipated end date of June 30, 2022.

As part of the Office of Ethical Development and Restorative Practices, assist with student COVID-19 vaccination, exemption and testing compliance. Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Students, the Student COVID Compliance Coordinator will coordinate operational and administrative tasks to support student compliance with the University's student testing and vaccination requirements; address and resolve testing compliance cases, as well as vaccination compliance, when possible; serve as a liaison with the COVID support team; serve as a resource to the University of San Diego community regarding student COVID compliance policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work in close collaboration with the COVID vaccination and exemption list manager to be sure student data is up to date on a daily basis.
Oversee exempt students' sign-up and use of the Quick Base application for testing sign-up.
Work in close collaboration with the COVID testing data manager to create and update non-compliance cases as needed.
Coordinate operational and administrative aspects of the testing and vaccination compliance processes, including receiving updates regarding testing compliance, creating cases in Maxient, determining students' professors in Banner, sending interim suspension letters, sending letters lifting interim suspensions and copying faculty on both.
Respond to outreach and questions regarding interim suspension and case status.
Conduct one-on-one Administrative Hearings (on Zoom), with students who become out of compliance for a second time, to discuss the on-going problem with COVID testing and vaccination compliance. Assign sanctions as appropriate

Posting Salary:	
$22 - $25 per hour; Medical and Retirement Benefited

Hours: 30 - 37.5 hours per week

Location & Hours: This position will primarily work remotely but may occasionally need to come to campus. The position may work alternative hours during specific times of the academic year, including housing move-in and other high-volume periods.
