Job Summary/Responsibilities:The gallery receptionists serve as guest coordinators for the Lufrano Intercultural Gallery and are the first point of contact for visitors. They also ensure security of all artwork on display in the gallery space. The receptionists must be willing and able to provide information about current gallery installations as well as enforce gallery rules.
Required Qualifications:1. Current UNF student
2. Punctual and dependable
3. Maintain a clean and organized gallery space
4. Engage visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner while maintaining social distancing
5. Become knowledgeable of the artists and artwork on display
6. Available during gallery hours (Mon-Thurs 10am-4pm, Fri 10am-3pm)
7. Available to possibly assist with opening receptions (2 per term, held outside regular gallery hours)
-Interest in art, art history, or museums
-Comfortable with working under minimal supervision
-Comfortable engaging with people about social justice issues
