Salary Information:$956 per Equivalent Credit Hour (ECH).
Job Summary:Temporary, part-time instructor for Fall Semester 2021.
Various Agriculture courses, days and times to be determined.
Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Agriculture or related.
AGC 420: Bachelor’s degree in Ag, Ag Education, or related. AGS 114: Bachelor’s in Agriculture or related OR Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or other related agricultural major with at least 3 credits in animal science. 3 years non-teaching related work experience AGC 420: 3 years non-teaching related work experience OR Iowa teaching license AND 3 years total in one or more of the areas below: FFA advising experience. Relevant teaching experience. Related work experience. AGS 114: 3 years non-teaching related work experience.
