Job Summary

The Counseling and Accessibility Services office is seeking an individual to provide clerical/administrative assistance with varied projects. The work hours are flexible around the student’s class schedule. The responsibilities include ensuring all details regarding the event are up to date, contacting specific vendors, answering telephone, putting events on calendar, drafting flyers for events, and setting up the logistics for the event. Additional duties include assistance with foster care program and entering data into excel spreadsheet.

Responsibilities
    Serve as point of contact for projectsTelephoning vendors regarding dates of events and informationcreating flyers for events.Logistical set-up of eventsHandling student inquiries regarding upcoming events. Assistance with setting up classroom visit for presentations as well as social engagement regarding eventStorage of Supplies both in office and Food LockerMaintaining Foster Care log and notification of students.Assist Director and Interns with classroom presentations, vendor information, and setting up of events.

    Current Atlanta Metropolitan State College student in good standing with at least a 2.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA)Students must have a class schedule showing course scheduleCurrent academic year’s completed FAFSA and approved for Financial Aid work-studyAttention to detail, professionalism, dependability, and strong communication skillsAbility to work independently and as a team memberPunctual.Ability to utilize computer to access Microsoft word and excel.
