Administrative Support Assistant - Mathematics

Temporary, Part-time (70%)

This position will provide administrative assistance to the Testing Support Center.  Position requires occasional evening schedule.  The primary functions/responsibilities of this position are:

  • Checking students in and out and setting them up for testing
  • Proctoring makeup exams according to instructor guidelines
  • Printing and sorting exam copies
  • Other testing-related jobs as needed (such as preparing completed exams for scanning, proctoring common midterm and final exams, etc.)


Qualifications
Qualifications:

Knowledge of Google documents and spreadsheets, teamwork skills, decision-making skills, and multi-tasking skills. This person must be trustworthy, dependable, and reliable.  Also essential is the ability to work in busy situations, deal with interruptions, interact in a professional, courteous manner with the public, students, and colleagues/coworkers, and independently make logical sound decisions regarding many aspects of the job.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma with 6 months of experience working with word documents and spreadsheets.

Preferred:

Associate’s Degree Preferred with 1-2 years of working in academic setting.
