Job Summary

The Database Administrator and Prospect Research Analyst is a vital resource to alumni and development staff, as well as internal and administrative leaders in applying Raiser's Edge to address transformational, strategic university priorities. Reporting to the Vice President for University Advancement, this team member will oversee the data team and manage the institution's alumni, donor and prospect database to ensure overall accuracy and integrity, providing end-user training and support services, establish and maintain dashboards, as well as help execute and provide best practice for complex data importing, exporting, extraction and analysis. A systems thinker who is also process oriented, this position will contribute to the strategy for alumni, parents, and friends to donate to the University in ways that are meaningful to them and that align and support the fundraising goals of UWG. Both strategic and practical, they will work closely with their team and other advancement colleagues to support important initiatives related to campaign planning, implement and maximize tools to manage and mine data, and integrate best practice for a data-driven approach to fundraising.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree

Required Experience
At least two years professional work experience in relevant field
Advanced working knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser's Edge CRM; proficient in both web view and database view
Systems thinker who is also process oriented; strategic and tactical
Proficient in development, research and prospect management practices
Strong research, technical, analytical, critical-thinking and relational-intuitive skillsCompetence in synthesizing and compiling large amounts of data from diverse sources
Strong written and oral communication skills with impeccable attention to detail
Flexible, adaptable, and creative problem-solver
Ability to effectively document and communicate processes and procedures
Strong analytical skills to analyze large volumes of information from disparate sources and synthesizing it in a cogent and concise form
Ability to work independently, prioritize work, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with a strong work ethic
Excellent project and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications
Knowledge of capacity rating systems and demonstrated experience providing capacity estimates
Working knowledge and understanding of fundraising and donor relations concepts, principles, and techniques
Advanced analytical skills to interpret financial data and individual wealth indicators, identify philanthropic patterns
Ability to manage and facilitate multiple requests for multiple channels with varying objectives in a timely manner

Proposed Salary

$53,604 minimum - $65,676 midpoint
