Job Id: 716 # of Openings: 1 Tenure-track Faculty Position – Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program – Wheaton College (IL)Wheaton College (IL) is seeking to fill a full-time, tenure track faculty position, rank open, in our APA-approved Psy.D. program for Fall 2022. As a diverse community of faculty and students who share a faith-based commitment to professional practice as service, especially to those marginalized in our society, we strongly encourage applications from groups underrepresented in higher education, including women and ethnic and racial minorities. Areas of specialization are open. However consistent with our core program mission, a strong preference will be given to candidates with clinical and research interests related to historically underserved populations. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: intersection of culture and clinical practice, global mental health, child/adolescent assessment within a developmental psychopathology framework, and geropsychology. Core faculty responsibilities include teaching, seminar-based oversight of clinical training, and dissertation research supervision. Successful candidates are expected to pursue a high-quality program of research and to mentor students in these ongoing efforts. A doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA accredited institution, or an allied field is required. Licensure or license-eligible in the state of Illinois is also required. College teaching experience and a strong track record of scholarly publications are both highly desirable. Please submit a letter of interest along with a curriculum vitae.
