Divisional activity includes CT, ultrasound, MR, and fluoroscopy. Areas of specific clinical and research interest can be in any area within the scope of abdominal imaging. Appointment can be at any level (Assistant, Associate, or full Professor) commensurate with achievement and experience. The successful candidate must be certified or eligible to be certified by the American Board of Radiology and have significant clinical, teaching, and research experience in abdominal radiology. The successful candidate will join a dynamic faculty that operates in a collaborative academic environment with the Departments of Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Emergency Medicine, Urology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Gastroenterology, and others. Augusta University is located in historic Augusta, Georgia, a mid-sized city with diverse recreational and lifestyle opportunities. A newly established cancer center has plans for growth in basic, translational and clinical cancer research.
