Secondary Assistant Coach, Men's Basketball

Assist the Head Coach in the organization and administration of the Mens Basketball program.

Your schedule will include nights and weekends. Travel is expected.

The primary responsibility of this position is to recruit qualified student-athletes who fit both the profile of the institution and the needs of the team.
  • Identify, engage, attend events where recruits are participating and recruit individuals to Emerson.
  • Scout teams, break down game film, and assist the head coach in practice and game planning.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or similar experience.
  • Prior coaching experience.
  • Demonstrated success with recruiting qualified student-athletes.
  • Understanding of NCAA rules, experience with Front Rush and film breakdown software.


Please note, based upon the intermittent hours this position will work the expected annual salary is $10,000.00 annually.

Grade of Position: A12N

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 19.40

Hiring Range: $17,633.93 - $18,436.69
