Job Description

Performs professional technical project tasks and participates in a variety of research procedures.

  • Possesses a broad understanding of the job

  • Researches information, collects data, and prepares analyses/reports as directed
  • Provides solutions to problems based on practice and existing precedents or procedures

Explains information to and within the team, noting improvements, efficiencies etc. to manager/supervisor and/or appropriate team member

Key Responsibilities

    Provide Navigation services to link project participants to care for HIV, substance misuse and other needed services.Provide follow-up to ensure project participants are engaged and retained in services and in the program intervention.Provide oversight of recruitment data and manage recruitment analysis.Recruit and collect data on organizations to provide captive audiences for program interventions.Assist with data collection and data entry.Assist with curricula facilitation.Other duties as assigned.
Salary

Minimum: $15.29/hourly

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years’ experience working with minority prevention programs.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Applies skills and knowledge in a variety of processes, procedures and systems throughout the research function
  • Experience in community-based case management, program development and implementation.
  • Experience working with minority populations.
  • Able to demonstrate a good understanding of the needs of at-risk youth.
  • Knowledgeable of community resources and services related to HIV and substance use.
  • Excellent verbal, written and problem solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good facilitation skills.
  • Ability to take initiative with minimal direction.
  • Ability to work in close collaboration with other team members and project partners.
  • Computer efficacy in Microsoft office, internet usage and database experience.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules that could include evenings and weekends.
