The ideal candidate will have a developing publication record in areas of computational modelling of diffusion-related phenomena, which may overlap with areas of cultural evolution, sociology, social-network analysis, and complexity theory. The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in skills in programming, familiarity with computational models in biophysics and/or cultural evolution, and quantitative statistical analysis. Candidates must show the potential for international research and publication. S/he will exhibit proclivity for independent work as well as co-ordinating interdisciplinary research with collaborators in the U.S. and internationally.

UTK is committed to building excellence in anthropology through interdisciplinarity and collaboration.
