The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia is seeking an Assistant Director of Graduate Recruitment and Marketing for Experience Programs in the Office of Graduate Recruitment and Marketing. This position is responsible for attracting and recruiting qualified experienced working professionals for matriculation. The successful candidate excels at developing relationships with working professionals, creating a robust network of alumni and corporate partners who can help support recruitment efforts and being a collaborative partner within the graduate recruitment team. They will develop and manage relationships while funneling candidates throughout the application and enrollment process including conducting advising sessions and leading group webinars and information sessions. Additionally, they will serve as the first point of contact for graduate degrees in M.S. in Business Analytics and M.S. in the Management of IT. Develop and maintain referral relationships with key technology and professional groups in target markets including but not limited to associations, regional technology councils, women in technology organizations, project management institutions and regional UVA alumni clubs. Conduct evaluative candidate interviews, provide objective and accurate information to be used in the admission process.

- Bachelor’s degree
- At least three years work experience
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and inclusive
- Able to work collaboratively and independently.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion and excellence in serving the needs of college students.
- Flexibility for some travel with occasional evenings/Saturdays as necessary for recruitment events.
- Masters Degree
- Previous background in higher education field such as admissions, recruitment, advising, career development or corporate foundation relations.
Anticipated hiring range: $45,000 - $65,000

COVID Vaccination Requirement
The University of Virginia expects all current and new employees (UVA Health System and Academic), to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
