Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems or closely related field with two years of experience in systems analysis;Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum two years of experience with a Student Information System;
Knowledge of project management;
Experience with systems analysis and ad hoc data queries;
Proficiency Writing Queries in SQL or PL/SQL;
Experience software testing for quality control, usability, and bug detection;
Highly effective communication skills (including presentations and training);
Problem solving skills;
Attention to Detail;
Availability to work evenings and/or weekends.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Technology in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, the Systems Support Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Ellucian/Banner and other related IT systems within Undergraduate Admissions. In addition, this position is charged with providing analysis of future system business needs, effectively developing, and executing a plan to implement system enhancements, performing quality control measures to address system compliance, and ensuring data integrity. The Systems Support Analyst is also responsible for developing queries for Banner, Slate and Logi reporting using SQL and PL?SQL, providing system data and related reports, as well as conducting job related research. The Systems Support Analyst must ensure technology is running efficiently and effectively to allow the undergraduate admissions employees to recruit, process, admit, and matriculate qualified prospects and students.Job Duties:
The System Support Analyst will work collaboratively with Undergraduate Admission staff, Information Technology staff, and other departments to maintain the Admissions processes in the Banner Student Information System (SIS). This position is responsible for the design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of software and reports. The systems Support Analyst must also keep abreast of all pertinent Banner and related IT system updates, as well as federal and state mandated admission changes to ensure compliance, excellent customer service, and business efficiency. Normal work hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. occasional weekend and evening work required. Additional Information to Applicants:

Occasional overnight travel and work beyond normal 8-5 M-F business hours may be required during peak business periods.
