Job Summary

• Apply current tools and technology and exhibit work ethic to regularly maintain production spaces and equipment to ensure proper operation

• Conduct research internally and externally to develop content ideas for production pieces.

• Demonstrate leadership in training others on production practices and policies.

• Write correct and clear copy for production campaigns appropriate to the audiences and purposes they serve.

• Think critically, creatively, and independently to create imaging campaigns including but not limited to station branding, local artist promotion, and event promotion

• Lead leadership and professional training session for Production work with WITs and other members

• Demonstrate professionalism and work ethic in attending staff leadership and job skill enhancement trainings, as well as meetings with On Air Personalities

• Apply current tools and technologies to assist with station remotes and events

• Utilize teamwork and leadership to train and mentor staff and volunteers.

• Adhere to all Policy and Procedures

• Report any and all violations to GM and OM

Required Qualifications

Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at UWG.

Student must have a 2.0 GPA or higher.

All students must have completed all of Core Area F and one or more of the following courses: In house WIT Training Course, COMM 3351-Radio Program Production, COMM-3352 Fundamentals of Television Production, COMM-3353 Fundamentals of Film & Video Production, COMM 4421-Radio Practicum, COMM 4485 – Sports Communication, and COMM-3354 Digital Social Media & Society.

Preferred Qualifications

Skilled with Adobe Audition

Phyiscal Requirements

Frequently moves Audio/Visual equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across campus for various classrooms and events needs.
