The School of Art at MVCC invites applications for part-time Adjunct Instructors to teach daytime and evening teaching assignments for General Drawing, Foundation Design, and Photography courses. Full descriptions for the above courses are available in the MVCC College Catalog.

Qualifications:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Art or Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or Photography required. Prior college teaching experience, knowledge of student learning outcomes, and familiarity with instructional technology and/or online teaching are preferred.

Organization

Mohawk Valley Community College has more than 800 full-time and part-time employees at our campuses in Utica and Rome, NY. We are located in the Central New York region at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains between Syracuse and Albany, NY in Oneida County.

Founded in 1946 as one of the first community colleges in New York State, MVCC is one of 64 campuses that are part of the State University of New York.
