Job Description:

This position is a research-oriented position, with potential for contribution to conference abstracts and publications. The primary focus will be research and also assisting as needed for our daily research operations. The technician will be responsible for recombinant DNA work, working with viral infected cells, analysis of gene expression from various cell lines, purification on DNAs, transfecting DNA into cells, performing immunoblot assays and microscopy imaging,

Training will be provided on site. The ability of maintaining detailed correct records of experiments is essential in this position. Additional duties include preparing stock solutions, performing routine lab procedures, maintaining laboratory equipment is in good conditions as needed.

The person in this position is expected to work between 30 to 40 hours per week.

Expected Salary:

$14.43 Hourly

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology or similar relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic laboratory skills are preferred.
