Position Title: Planning and Research Associate (Reg FT)

General Summary: Provides data collection and analysis to support research, survey, planning, grant application and assessment activities.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in information science, social science, statistics, public administration/policy analysis or related field and a minimum of two years experience. Computer, quantitative, time management and web content management skills. Experience in higher education, government or healthcare.

Duties:

1. Prepares data tabulation and analysis using SPSS, GIS and database management software.

2. Prepares statistical reports, survey and data files required by external agencies and organizations.

3. Collects and maintains data to support grant application, budgetary and planning process.

4. Assures documentation of institutional processes, methodologies, formulas and data sources.

5. Assists with survey data collection and preparation for analysis.

6. Maintains internet presence for planning, research and assessment initiatives.

7. Respond to ad hoc requests for information.

8. Gathers, analyzes, and presents data for external audiences, including mandated state and federal reports.

9. Provide support for the college strategic planning process

10. Provide support for and/or sit as a member of our Institutional Review Board.

11. Utilizes economic and demographic data sources to support institutional planning and program renewal.

12. Incorporates the core principles of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in daily interactions and activities, and engages in CCAC's broader Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts as appropriate.

13. Performs other duties as assigned.

Clearances: Current criminal record/child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and in order to be employed at the College. The three clearances are Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Check.
