The University of Colorado Denver, Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a radiation oncologist to work within the Southern Colorado Division of the University of Colorado Health System at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. The position will include a focus on genitourinary oncology, in addition to general radiation oncology clinical responsibilities. The position will include opportunities for contribution to the department’s overall academic mission, supervise trainees, and to participate in clinical research. Professional Field
This position requires the completion of a residency in radiation oncology. This position requires someone to be able to obtain licensure for the practice of medicine within the State of Colorado and obtain privileges at our participating hospitals. Examples of Work Performed
The radiation oncologist in the position is expected to see and treat patients with cancer. Although members of this division have clinical sub-specialty interests, there is occasional general radiation oncology clinical coverage involved. In addition to their designated sites of expertise, they will also be required to see urgent or emergency patients with other diagnoses as the need arises. Supervision Received

The salary range has been established for the following positions at 1.00 FTW.Assistant Professor $325,000 to $375,000 Associate Professor $350,000 to $450,000The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
