Summary

The Administrative Secretary is responsible for assisting the Administrative Operations Manager, Chair, and serves as a liaison to the department’s Creative Writing events committees. The administrative tasks consist of answering the phone, assisting students and faculty, handling special registration, ordering supplies, maintaining the office equipment, updating department websites and creating newsletters. The responsibilities involved in the Creative Writing liaison include the planning, managing, promoting, and executing those events and will be prioritized over other duties at the time of those events.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
AND
  • Two years directly related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree
  • Program design experience
