Specialists, Adult Basic Education (ELAA & GED Instructors); (Part-time)

Description of Position

HIRING RATE: $25.00/hour

Performs professional level work that is predominantly original and creative in nature. Work is directly related to instructional/academic Adult Basic Education program. Duties performed at this level require an advanced knowledge of a functional area or program within the College (ie. ABE/GED/ELAA). Open position is for ESL. Other required duties as assigned.

Position is Open until Filled- applications will be reviewed as they received.

Minimum Expectations & Requirements

- Bachelor's degree required
- Two years of related work experience
- Ability to adapt in a changing workplace
- Ability to work independently

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Any certifications required by profession
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information

Preferred Skills & Abilities

- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
- Work experience in a community college/higher education environment
