Job Details

Specific Duties and Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:  

  • Teaching didactic lectures, clinical courses, and labs as needed in the areas of med-surg, pharmacology, pathophysiology, leadership, and/or health policy;
  • Mentoring undergraduate students;
  • Providing clinical supervision;
  • Developing curriculum;
  • Participating in faculty governance including serving on departmental, school, and/or university committees

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Doctorate in nursing, education, or public health by date of appointment
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience teaching in an undergraduate nursing program
  • Experience with simulation-based learning
  • Evidence of relevant clinical experience
  • Evidence of ability to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts through teaching, research/scholarship , and or service
  • Eligibility for RN licensure in DC and VA
