CGHS - Assistant/Associate Professor Nursing, 0.5 FTE (remote)

A.T. Still University's College of Graduate Health Studies (ATSU-CGHS) invites applications for a 0.5 FTE faculty appointment at the rank of an assistant or associate professor for the Nursing program. The position reports to the Nursing chair. 

The primary responsibilities with this role include assisting in writing the CCNE self-study document and ancillary materials and assisting in the development of the MSN course syllabi. The faculty member will need to attend departmental meetings as scheduled.

Major Job Duties

  • Assistance with CCNE preparation for the upcoming on-site visit.
  • Curriculum development assistance with CCNE preparation for the upcoming on-site visit and development of the MSN courses syllabi.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of CCNE materials to prepare the program for an on-site accreditation visit.
  • Assist in the development of the MSN course syllabi.


  • Terminal degree either in nursing or a related field. If the terminal degree is in a related field, must have an MSN
  • Unencumbered RN license from any state in the US
  • Would prefer a certification in advanced nursing leadership
  • Experience with Canvas or similary LMS
  • Skilled with technology application, including Excel, PPT, Word, and Adobe
  • Experience in working directly with a variety of students at the doctoral level
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to be creative in developing and evaluating curriculum, including DNP projects
  • Ability to multi-task while ensuring productivity
  • Ability to problem-solve while encouraging innovative ideas
  • Collegial interactions & communications with all in the ATSU community
