The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business invites applicants for an Associate Professor position in our Accounting area, intended for placement in the Johnson School, with an intended start date of July 1, 2022. The position will be based in Ithaca, NY.

Responsibilities of the position include maintaining an active research program in experimental and/or behavioral accounting research; mentoring doctoral students and junior faculty, with special focus on those pursuing experimental and/or behavioral research; teaching MBA and Executive MBA courses in the Johnson School, with possibilities of teaching across schools within the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business, specifically in the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management and the School of Hotel Administration; and fulfilling service duties appropriate to the candidate’s rank.

The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in Accounting or related field, and a record of rigorous and influential research publications that the College would consider tenurable upon hiring or soon thereafter. 

The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business (established on July 1, 2016) combines three Schools: the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management (Johnson), the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management (Dyson), and the School of Hotel Administration (Hotel School). The Johnson School offers MBA, Accelerated MBA, Executive MBA, and Ph.D. programs.  Courses and programs are taught at Cornell’s main Ithaca campus, the Cornell Tech campus in New York City, and other locations across the globe.
