Position: Contact Tracer/Case Manager Location: Wheaton, IL
Job Id: 699 # of Openings: 2 Contact Tracer/Case Manager Job OverviewThis position is a role that reports to the Student Health Center and partners closely with Human Resources. The COVID-19 Contact Tracer and Case Manager will manage COVID-19 case investigation services, including coordination/communication regarding isolation/quarantine, medical care, and testing for both students and employees of Wheaton College.

This is a part-time, temporary position. Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Work to reach 100% of all cases and contacts within 24-48 hours of notification to Wheaton College.
    The COVID-19 Contact Tracer and Case Manager position must be able to follow protocols when performing case investigation and contact notification and possess the ability to be flexible and respond quickly as the College cannot predict when we will have cases of COVID-19.
    Coordinate with testing services in order for contacts to be tested, as appropriate.
    Responsible for the reporting requirements to DuPage County Health Department for all positive COVID-19 cases and their close contacts.

  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Natural Science field
  • Health/medical-related professional experience or public health training highly preferred
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Highly detailed and organized
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to demonstrate care for individuals
Physical Requirements The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 10 pounds.
