This position with the Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University, involves care of adults in the departmental outpatient clinic. Duties would include serving as supervisor of a psychiatry resident clinic, as well as providing direct services without learners present. Support would also be offered for facilitating pre-clinical medical student case-based learning small groups. On-call expectations include weekend rounds with psychiatry residents approximately one weekend per quarter, as well as one holiday per year and telephonic call 1-2 week nights per month. Weekend and holiday call involves conducting general psychiatry rounds in the AU Medical Center Emergency Department and on AU Medical Center medical floors on patients being followed by the department’s Psychiatry Consultation Liaison Service.Minimum Requirements
