The D. Abbott Turner College of Business seeks qualified candidates for a tenure track position in Accounting at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor beginning August 2021. We seek candidates with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, engaged learning, and research with the potential to make significant contributions to undergraduate research.

The successful candidate will possess an earned doctorate in Accounting from a fully accredited institution (ABDs near completion may be considered if completion is expected within one year). Candidates must show evidence of teaching quality and be willing to maintain an active research and publication agenda along with community service. Evidence of teaching quality through references or other sources is required. Candidates for rank above assistant professor must possess a continuous record of scholarly publication in peer reviewed journals. Candidates must be committed to advising and mentoring students, quality teaching, and continued instructional and scholarly development. The candidate must support a strong commitment to practices that support the University's focus on student engagement, problem solving, and active learning.
Preference will be given for candidates that have experience with active and experiential learning methodologies. Required Documents to Attach
