The Department of Geography and Anthropology offers a diverse range of programs including degrees in Geography, Anthropology, and Geospatial Sciences, minors in Anthropology, Environmental Studies, and Geography, and certificates in Geographic Information Sciences and Land Surveying. Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time faculty positions in Land Surveying for the Department of Geography and Anthropology. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
The Department of Geography and Anthropology at Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for part-time Instructors or part-time Assistant Professors to teach undergraduate courses in Land Surveying. These courses are most often at an introductory level and include Construction Measurements, Surveying I, and Surveying I Lab.

Part-time faculty are hired from the department's pool of applicants on a semester-by-semester basis. Assignments to faculty in the pool are based on departmental needs and are for one or two courses per semester. Applicants may be asked to teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online) and courses may be assigned at the Kennesaw or Marietta campus or online. Qualified out-of-state candidates with demonstrated success in online teaching are encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications
A Master's, PhD or other terminal degree in Geospatial Systems Engineering, Geographic Information Sciences, or a closely related field, or its foreign equivalent is required.

Candidates with a minimum of 18 graduate level credit hours in Land Surveying, the Geospatial Sciences, Geomatics, or related field, along with relevant professional experience will also be considered. Experience with AutoCAD is required.
