Executive MBA Program Administrative Support at Wharton San Francisco is a contract position and is ineligible for benefits. This position is located in San Francisco
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Executive MBA program team and may sometimes be the first point of contact for phone inquiries, walk-ins and on e-mail correspondence and should have a welcoming tone in all contact. Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, interactive environment and work well within small team environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities are to provide administrative support for the Executive MBA program management team. Duties include: File creation, word processing and mail merges, spreadsheet creation and data entry. Standard administrative tasks include data entry, photocopying, scanning and filing confidential documents, event planning support (prep and live), etc. Assisting with event execution by providing administrative and logistical support to the EMBA Admissions Director and Associate Director. Answering the phone, answering questions and transferring calls as required. Responding to basic admissions queries via phone and e-mail
Other duties as assigned
• Outstanding communication skills are essential to the position and previous administrative experience is strongly preferred.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel is a requirement of the position.
• Proficiency in the Adobe Suite including PowerPoint and Photoshop is a preferred.
• Ability to create & update forms, spreadsheets, mail merges required.
• Strong writing, editing and organizational skills required.
• Individual must be able to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Compensation to be commensurate with experience and skill set.
• Saturday availability required (usually twice a month) and occasional evening work required for events.
• 15 hours per week on average, some flexibility with schedule.
