Colorectal Surgery Opportunity

The Medical College of Georgia Department of Surgery at Augusta University is seeking a full-time Colorectal Surgeon to join our faculty at the Associate or Full Professor level.  Leadership opportunities exist within the Georgia Cancer Center and/or the Department of Surgery for candidates with appropriate experience and interest.

About Us

The Medical College of Georgia, founded in 1828, is the 13th-oldest medical school in the United States.  It is the 8th largest public medical school in the country, with 260 students currently matriculating per class.  MCG is the medical school of the state of Georgia with 200 volunteer surgeons serving as faculty throughout our regional campuses. AU Health, the primary teaching hospital affiliated with MCG, is a 450-bed academic health system positioned for significant growth in the next five years. The Department of Surgery will prioritize the development of innovative approaches to surgical education and health systems research as we execute on our tripartite mission over the next five years.
