Job Description

The Assistant Program Coordinator, under general supervision of the Assistant Director of the Academic Learning Center, assists in the development, coordination, and assessment of the Academic Learning Center and programs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the SI Coordinator by maintaining documentation, session and attendance data and any additional materials as needed.

  • Assist in creating reports for the SI Program to be submitted to stakeholders at the end of every semester.

  • Attend leadership meetings as well as facilitate meetings and/or training sessions.

  • Create event schedules and handle event logistics for the Academic Learning Center.

  • Maintain department relations and social media connections.

  • Create and maintain social media calendar

  • Guide, direct, answer questions, and resolve problems of students seeking assistance from the Academic Learning Center

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field.

  • Three years of experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

  • Verbal and written communication skills. \
