Job Details
The Department of Biology at Temple University seeks qualified individuals for its undergraduate biology laboratory courses and supplementary instructional sessions for Fall 2021 and Spring 2022. Teaching responsibilities primarily would involve undergraduate laboratory-based courses and/or SOAR sessions, including introductory biology for majors and nonmajors, Cell Biology and Genetics. Applicants for adjunct instructor positions should have a bachelor’s degree in the life sciences. Applicants for adjunct professor (assistant/associate) levels should have a Master’s degree or doctoral degree. Prior teaching experience both in person and online, as well as with experience with online learning management systems such as Canvas is desirable. Enthusiasm for developing instructional skills is welcomed. Long-term professional development opportunities in teaching and pedagogy are possible. Salary is competitive and is based on educational rank and prior experience. The Fall semester begins Monday, August 23, 2021.
