The School of Management at Binghamton University (State University of New York at Binghamton) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Finance starting in mid-August 2022, subject to budgetary approval.
The teaching component (2 + 2) requires delivering required/elective courses in Finance at the undergraduate, master's and doctoral levels. The ideal candidate will also contribute to the intellectual environment of the area.
School of Management:
The School of Management is accredited by AACSB and ranked among the top public undergraduate business programs. The school offers Bachelors, Masters, and PhD programs in Finance. The Finance faculty in the School of Management have a consistent record of scholarly achievement and published in high-quality journals that include Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis.
Candidates must have an earned PhD degree by the start of the appointment (mid-August 2022) and demonstrate the ability to conduct high quality research as evidenced by publication in top-tier journals and sound teaching credentials.
