Nature of position:Temporary, part-time
Job Summary/Basic Function:The Master of Science in Emergency Management (MSEM) Program at times needs temporary part-time instructors to teach topics courses. The MSEM Program is housed in the School of Science and Mathematics and is comprised of 16 multidisciplinary faculty members.
In addition to teaching, there is an expectation for scholarship and service commensurate with the assignment.
Required Qualifications:Master’s degree in emergency management or a related field from an accredited institution. Experience in teaching courses in emergency management or related fields. Evidence of commitment to diversity and equity and a successful interview. Three Successful background checks: Act 34 (Criminal Record Check); Act 114 (FBI Federal Criminal History-Fingerprinting); and Act 151 (Child Abuse History Clearance).
Preferred Qualifications:On-line teaching experience preferred.
