Job Description:

The Stabler Department of Nursing is seeking to hire qualified adjunct clinical faculty with experience in medical-surgical nursing to provide clinical instruction for sophomores or juniors in the Baccalaureate degree program.

Adjunct faculty are expected to instruct students in the clinical setting; provide support and guidance; and evaluate performance of learning outcomes. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a strong commitment to working as part of a collaborative team. Adjunct faculty work in collaboration with full-time faculty to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that assists students in the integration of knowledge, inter-professional communication, and development of professional values in the clinical practice setting.

Requirements:

• Graduate degree in nursing or plans to complete a graduate degree within 3 years
• Expertise and experience in medical-surgical nursing
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching or clinical instruction experience at the undergraduate level.
