Job Summary The administrative assistant will provide efficient administrative support to the athletics department and ticket offices by phone and in person. This position oversees various administrative duties which include but not limited to overseeing the daily operations of the office. The position performs other job related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
    Provides clerical support and, secretarial servicesManages the department’s calendar, director and department’s schedules, facilities rental and weekly meetings. Assists the ticket manager with office operations and sale/distribution of tickets and tailgating spaces for all home and select away athletics eventsManages work study students, internal communications, and select databasesAssists with team travel and special projects. Acts as purchaser for the department; enters items into e-procurement and completes p-card transactions. May be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically delineated in this description. Must adhere to all university policies, NCAA By-Laws and Conference policies (SIAC).
Required Qualifications

Associate's degree is required. Must possess good writing skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) as well as strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to diversity. Must possess strong organizational and effective communication skills. Candidates must have a high degree of professional integrity and respect for the values of the University. This position is subject to a comprehensive background and credit check with employment contingent upon satisfactory results. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
