Job Overview:
Wheaton College Billy Graham Center African American Church Evangelism Institute (“AACEI”) is a movement of African American churches reaching out with the gospel to impact the world – community by community! This is a part-time administrative role for approximately 15-20 hours a week. We can only consider applicants for this position who live in Illinois or Wisconsin.

Curriculum Revision Duties:
  1. Assist the Executive Director in adapting the Church Evangelism Institute curriculum for use with predominantly African American churches
  2. Manage revision process and gather input from stakeholders
  3. Participate in review calls with AACEI team, noting revisions needed
  4. Ensuring consistency and professionalism in final curriculum product
Administrative Duties:
  1. Assist in the process of issuing scholarships, reimbursements for coach expenses, and the collection of pastoral cohort fees.
  2. Distribute and collect AACEI coach contracts, coordinate the process of paying honorariums and various invoices or reimbursements.
  3. Work with AACEI team to contact pastors through email or phone, as needed.
  4. Assist in transcription services from audio and video files.
  5. Assist in setting up Schoology groups for new cohorts, including loading in our curriculum, as needed.
  6. Assist in recovering Schoology account passwords for cohort participants.
  7. Attend Bi-Weekly Ops Meetings via Zoom, manage AACEI Zoom accounts and download recordings monthly.
  8. Create and distribute Strategy Team and Oversight Team Agendas, capture minutes/notes.
  9. Schedule next round of meetings for AACEI Oversight, Strategy, and Ops Teams.
  10. Assist pastors on setting up payments, creating payment plans, and setting up payment policy in customer relationship management systems.
  11. Assist in proofreading and copyediting for important correspondence such as donor reports, fundraising materials, curriculum, etc., to catch remaining grammatical issues, typographical errors, or formatting issues.
  12. Create and distribute marketing materials for AACEI Retreat and AACEI Reunion.
  13. Create and distribute participant surveys, adapting for AACEI.
  14. Assist in the coordination of research activities as needed.

Physical Requirements
The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 10 pounds.
