Position's Functional Title:Junior Server/Network Administrator
Position Summary:Governors State University is seeking to hire a Junior Server/Network Administrator in the Information Technology Services department. This position provides technical support to the University’s server and network environment. This position acts as a first-tier support that manages and expedites support requests and provides direct end-user support to customers.
Salary Range: $33,241.23 – $56,000.00.
(This is a non-unionized position. Salary starts at the base and is determined based on Education and Experience exceeding the minimum qualifications).

1. High school graduation or equivalent2. Any combination totaling one (1) year from the following categories: A. progressively more responsible work experience in an Information Technology (IT) related profession.
B. college course work which included Information Technology (IT), or a closely related discipline, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
- 60 semester hours or Associate’s Degree equals one (1) year.
