This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to students/faculty/staff who phone-in and/or email inquiries; offer information concerning college services and information including but not limited to admissions, academic/registration procedures, advising services, residency, transcripts, academic programs and financial aid. Maintain database of email, mail, and phone call communication results to prospective students regarding applying for admission and registration.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provides customer service to students, faculty, and staff through phone or email inquiries; offers information concerning college services and information including but not limited to admissions, academic/registration procedures, advising services, exemptions, residency, transcript, academic programs, and financial aid, etc.
Guides and assists students applying for admission, financial aid, and registering via the internet.
Guides, directs, answers questions, and resolves problems of students seeking financial aid program information and forms.
Prepares, mails, and maintains database with information sent to prospective students and prospectively ensures that follow up contact is made with students who have expressed interest in TAMU-SA but have not completed the admission and/or registration process.
Maintains database of inbound and outbound phone call communication results to prospective students regarding applying for admission and registration.
Works off-campus base registration when required by providing.
Verifies enrollment status of current or previous students.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
